Ask yourself, what is positive in this subject matter? If you cannot find anything positive, then change the way you approach your subject at hand.
Instead of focusing on the negative side of things try to focus on the positive things. Sometimes it is a lot easier said than done, but it is up to you and only you to adjust your way of thinking. If you are consuming energy in to thinking you might focus on the positive things, at the end of the day it takes as much energy as does dwelling on the negative thoughts.

By being grateful for the good things in your life your signalling strongly that there is something positive in the subject matter and that you want to focus your mind and energy in to that.
